The R-SPEKT limited edition quick release safety lock is a special product designed for the quick securing / releasing of a fishing rod placed in a fishing stand. If you have ever had a rod pop out of the stand during a bite and had to awkwardly retrieve it from the water, this safety lock is made for you.

The safety lock consists of a rubber band and a small stainless steel flat plate with a round hole for the ratchet and a burned logo of R-SPEKT limited edition. You slide this plate through the round hole under the rear ratchet of each rod, and then simply wrap the rod with the rubber bands, which securely and safely hold the rod in the stand. When a bite occurs or any other necessary manipulation with the rod is needed, you just need to lightly release these rubber bands with your fingers and the rod is immediately free again.
