Shimano Rod Tribal TX-7 3.66m (12ft) 3.25lb 2-piece
Thanks to the strength and performance, which are the main attributes of this model, this series offers some of the longest casting capabilities among Shimano Tribal models. Nevertheless, the rods remain deceptively slim, lightweight, and sensitive.
If you fish in large waters where long casting is required to achieve a catch, the new TX-7 will definitely appeal to you. The TX-7 model previously broke the world record for the 4oz lead casting tournament with a distance of 226 meters!
The new generation is developed in the same spirit, but with advanced technology to once again break records. In the models with the highest weight rating, you will feel the power hidden in an almost impossibly thin blank, while the more conventional models between 2.75 lb and 3.25 lb offer an excellent compromise between casting power, accuracy, and functionality when fighting a fish.
By adding NANOSHEET technology and M40X carbon fibers, the blank becomes more sensitive and has faster recovery capabilities after casting. All of this will support you in the longest casts you have ever made. The new TX-7 series is strong and powerful, yet very gentle when fighting a fish under the tip of the rod. For even greater maximization of performance, zirconium Kigan guides made of stainless steel have been mounted on the blanks, ensuring unyielding strength without increasing weight. The TX-7 series is complemented by a Fuji DPS reel seat and EVA handle, allowing you to venture out onto the largest waters with confidence.
