Důraz je kladen na ideální poměr poddajnosti a pevnosti. Šňůra je jemná jako hedvábí a velmi tenká. Malý průměr dovoluje větší návin na cívku navijáku a umožní nahazování do větší dálky, hlavně díky své poddajnosti. Nemá prakticky žádnou paměť a nulovou průtažnost. Šňůra je vhodná na vertical, vábničku, jigging, trolling, jerk bait and popper fishing, carp fishing, spin fishing atd.
